Terms ofmembership
Plain-English terms for every Gay Social Club membership, in every city.
1. Who you're contracting with
Each club is operated by a local legal entity. The operating entity, its company or business number, the currency you're billed in and any applicable tax are shown on that club's page, and on your receipts.
2. Membership and billing
Membership is a recurring subscription billed in advance in the club's local currency at the price shown when you join. There is no joining fee and no minimum term. Prices may change with at least 30 days' notice before your next billing date.
3. Cancellation and refunds
You can cancel anytime in your account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you've already paid for, and that period is not refunded. We don't provide refunds for events you chose not to attend.
4. RSVPs and no-show fees
RSVPs reserve you a place and commit us to venue numbers. If you RSVP and don't attend without changing your RSVP before the cut-off shown on the event, the no-show fee for your club is charged to your payment method. Changing your RSVP in your account before the cut-off always avoids the fee.
5. Events
Events, venues, hosts and timings can change or be cancelled. Where we cancel an event, we'll tell you as early as we can. Membership gives access to the calendar, not to any particular event.
6. Eligibility and conduct
Members must be 18 or over. Membership is personal and non-transferable. Our Code of Conduct forms part of these terms; breaching it can result in removal from an event or cancellation of membership without refund.
7. Costs at events
Membership covers access to events. Food, drinks, tickets and activity fees at a venue are yours to pay unless an event explicitly says otherwise.
8. Liability
You attend events at your own risk and are responsible for your own safety and belongings. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law in your country, including the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act and the Australian Consumer Law.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified by email before they take effect, and continuing your membership means accepting them.
